Sensei Lucas Kardas began his training in karate at the age of 6 years old. He spent many years training and competing most of which was under his brother, Sensei Dino Kardas guidance.
Sensei Lucas has made many trips to Japan and trained and fought with some of the best Sabaki Fighters in the world. In August 2002 Sensei Lucas Kardas travailed to Japan for more intensive training and participate in the 2002 Japanese Summer Camp in Ehime. It was there that Sensei Lucas sat his promotion test along with other Japanese instructors attempting Dan Promotion’s in front of over 160 spectators. Sensei Lucas was presented with his Shodan by Kancho Joko Ninomiya.
In 2007 Sensei Lucas again travelled to Japan to receive more intensive fight training with some of the best Enshin has to offer and to participate in the 2007 All - Japan Summer Camp. Whilst in Japan Sensei Lucas sat another gruelling promotion test in front of Kancho and Masuda Sensei. Sensei Lucas was awarded his Ni Dan (2nd Dan) by Kancho Ninomiya.
Sensei Lucas Kardas along with his brother Sensei Dino Kardas currently run the Australian Headquarters of Enshin Karate located in Melbourne Australia.
Sensei Lucas continues to train and teach daily Kancho Ninomiya’s Unique Enshin Karate.
